Comments: Minority student will receive first preference in the selection process. Applicants must complete an official application form and submit on a separate sheet of paper a typed statement of their academic interests, activities in which they are involved both on and off campus, work experience, and future plans for a career in a "corrections setting." Recipients are required to send a thank-you letter to the greater Illinois area chapter of the National Association of Blacks in Criminal Justice.
