This yearly publication by the Illinois Criminal Justice Information Authority contains a section devoted to juvenile justice. It presents statistics on the number of juveniles taken into police custody each year, the types of cases filed,the number of juveniles being tried as adults, and the type of sanctions juvenile offenders receive.
