Physical Sciences Library

Located in the unique, round annex of Currens Hall, the Physical Sciences Library at Western Illinois University offers an exceptional core collection of chemistry and physics books, journals, and reference materials which encompass a variety of specialized areas including astronomy, biochemistry, environmental chemistry and forensics. The library works closely with the Chemistry and Physics departments in the selection of new materials.

The library contains about 20,000 volumes and 100 print journals. This library also offers reference and research assistance, reserve materials, and numerous on-line full-text databases. Within the library we showcase special collections of New Books, graduate theses in chemistry and physics, and currently are showcasing our unique collection of reference books on Forensics and Crime Scene Investigation.
