How to create persistent links to individual articles in Project Muse

  1. Connect to Project Muse through the library website
  2. Find an article and click on the title to access the full-text of the article.
  3. Copy the URL in your browser address bar.
  4. Use the Link Converter to make the Persistent Link accessible to all WIU users (or attach the following prefix):
    • https://ezproxy.wiu.edu/login?url=
    • Example:
      • https://ezproxy.wiu.edu/login?url=
        http://muse.jhu.edu/journals/human_
        rights_quarterly/v020/20.3marks.html
  5. Test! Copy/paste the new link into your browser address bar to make sure it works (remove any spaces in the URL).
