Persistent Links (Gerritsen)

How to create persistent links to individual Gerritsen Collection articles or citations

  1. Connect to Gerritsen Collection through the library website
  2. Find an article or citation
  3. Copy the URL in your browser address bar
  4. Use the Link Converter to make the Persistent Link accessible to all WIU users (or attach the following prefix):
    • https://ezproxy.wiu.edu/login?url=
    • Example:
      • https://ezproxy.wiu.edu/login?url=http://gerritsen.chadwyck.com/
        prod/gerritsen/fullcitation?docID=Gerritsen-GP60.1_Volume_37_Issue_6-12
  5. Test! Copy/paste the new link into your browser address bar to make sure it works (remove any spaces in the URL).
