The Music Library is the premier music resource for the WIU campus and the Western Illinois region.

Collection:
The Music Library collection comprises books about music, musical scores, video and sound recordings in various formats, and music journals. Although the collection focuses on Western art music from the Middle Ages to the present, it also includes materials which support the School of Music curriculums in music therapy, music business, jazz, popular music and world music. In addition, the library has access to a number of music-related databases and indexes, as well as two streaming audio services.
Listening equipment:
Nine listening stations are available for use in the Music Library. Equipment is installed for playing CDs, CD-ROMS, DVDs, Videos, Cassettes, and LPs.
