leadership, analytic ability, ethical reasoning, and more.

Human Resource Management improves the fit between individuals and organizations. The Human Resource Management program is designed to produce graduates with the tools and talent to apply techniques that improve human resource outcomes in organizations. Staffing, compensation, training, and other HR systems work in concert to improve employee performance, retention, satisfaction, and more.

Operations Management is a study of activities required for efficient and effective transformation of inputs into outputs in both service and manufacturing organizations. OM courses provide students with knowledge of a variety of analytical models and approaches to identify, define, analyze, and propose workable solutions to operating problems. These solutions involve designing, planning, directing, and controlling of facilities, processes, materials, energy, and people used in producing an organization's products and services.

Today, Business Law courses are designed to help students appreciate the complex legal environment in which they will soon operate, and to understand the complicated rules and regulations that businesses face. Whether introducing them to the general nature and function of law and legal systems, or exploring such applied topics as commercial transactions, the law of business organizations, and cyberlaw, each business law course is designed to help prepare our next generation of managers to be more informed and effective leaders.
