Current Student

Liz Crooks graduated from the University of Iowa with a bachelor of Liberal Studies and a Museum Studies Certificate. Liz was born and raised in Iowa City where she continues to reside with her family. She currently works at the University of Iowa's Pentacrest Museums and the UI Center for Human Rights.

In addition to her studies at Western Illinois, Liz is pursuing a Graduate Certificate in Book Arts at the UI's Center for the Book. Her background includes administrative work in medical education and a term on the Iowa City Community School District Board of Directors. Liz's ideal job would be an administrative role in a small to medium-sized museum, archives, or special collections library.
