The Western Brass Nov. 13

MACOMB, IL - - Western Illinois University's Brass Ensemble, The Western Brass, will perform at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 13 in the College of Fine Arts and Communication (COFAC) Recital Hall.

Under the batons of Music Professor Randall Faust and Music Assistant Professor Richard Cangro, the Western Brass' program will include "Toccata," by Edmund Haines, "Festival Pieces for Brass Quintet," by Jack Hawes, "Jesu Dulcis Memoriam," by Thomas Luis Victoria, "Frippery #19," by Lowell Shaw, "Three Dances," by Tylman Susato, "Motet and Royal Fanfare," by Josquin des Prez, "Es ist ein Ros entsprungen," by Michael Praetorius and Johannes Brahms and "Sonata Pian e Forte" and "Canzona per Sonare No. 2," by Giovanni Gabrieli.

The concert is open free to the public.
