MACOMB, IL – A group of friendly aliens from another planet will invade Western Illinois University for a BCA musical extravaganza Tuesday, Feb. 19.

The group, Voca People, will perform at 7:30 p.m. in Western's Hainline Theatre.

The singers are said to be aliens from the planet "Voca," located somewhere behind the sun, "where music is life and life is music."

The band, dressed entirely in white, is a mix of vocals, a cappella and beat boxing. The story behind the show is that the group's spacecraft, which runs on musical energy, has emptied itself. The show is spent trying to refill the tank with the help of the audience.

Tickets, $15 for the public and $10 for senior citizens, WIU employees and youth, are available at the Hainline Theatre Box, (309) 298-2900, or at BCAbringstheStars.com. WIU students are admitted free with a valid ID.

For more information, visit BCAbringstheStars.com or the Voca People website at voca-people.com.
