WIU-QC Campus: Close 3:30 p.m. [2/26]

MOLINE, IL – The Western Illinois University-Quad Cities campus will close at 3:30 p.m. today (Tuesday, Feb. 26) due to severe winter weather. All classes and events scheduled at the WIU-QC are canceled. At this time the campus is scheduled to re-open at 8 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 27. Updates will be posted at wiu.edu/qc.
Employees working in essential positions are required to work their regular hours during a total shutdown. The WIU policy on limiting University operations because of emergency conditions is available in the Administrative Procedures Handbook, which can be viewed at wiu.edu/policies/emergency.php.
EDITOR'S NOTE: Weather announcements for the WIU-Macomb campus are aired on the following radio and television stations: WIUM FM 91.3, WIUW FM 89.5, WJEQ FM 102.7, WNLF 95.9 FM, WMQZ FM 104.1, WKAI FM 100, WLMD-FM 104.7, WLRB AM 1510, WKXQ FM 92.5, WGILAM 1400, KFM 105.3, WAAG FM 95, WLSR 92.7, WGEM TV – Quincy (NBC), KHQA TV – Quincy (CBS) and WQAD TV – Moline (ABC).
