WIU Brass Ensemble April 30

MACOMB, IL - - The Western Illinois University School of Music's Brass Ensemble will perform at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 30 in the College of Fine Arts and Communication (COFAC) Recital Hall.
The ensemble's program includes "Promenade from Pictures at an Exhibition," by Modeste Mussorgsky, "Music for Brass Instruments," by Ingolf Dahl, "Sonata No. 22 from Hora Decima," by Johann Pezel, "Diversions for Brass Sextet," Donald H. White, "Toccata ‘Cleopatra'," by Aurelio Bonelli, "Festive and Commemorative Music Opus 109," by Johannes Brahms, "Ein Feste Burg ist Unser Gott: Chorale," by Martin Luther; "Ein Fest Burg ist Unser Gott: Motet," by Hans Leo Hassler and "Chorus from Cantata 80: Ein Feste Burg ist Unser Gott," by J.S. Bach.
Professor Randall Faust will direct the brass ensemble.
