MACOMB, IL - - Western Illinois University's student-run radio station, 88.3 The Dog WIUS-FM, will be featured on mtvU's College Radio Countdown throughout the week.

WIU students who work at 88.3 The Dog created a video for mtvU to be aired on campus, mtvU's television station and online at mtvU.com. Juan Reyes, a broadcasting major from Burbank, IL; Jeff Marta, a broadcasting major from Lisle, IL; Ryan Baldwin, a broadcasting major from Frankfort, IL; Wyatt Larson, a broadcasting major from Glen Carbon, IL, and Brandon Davis, a broadcasting major from Galesburg, IL, created the video, which features select areas of WIU's campus and the top 10 songs that are or have been featured on the student radio station.

According to the mtvU website, the College Radio Countdown gives college radio stations across the country the opportunity to call out their favorite videos on mtvU. They also feature different college radio stations across the country.

"WIUS-FM is celebrating 30 years on air this year, and this is one of many great things members of the WIUS-FM staff have worked on," Reyes said.
