Fili Awarded Centennial Honors Scholarship

MACOMB, IL – Spoon River Valley High School senior Connor Fili, of London Mills, has been selected for Western Illinois University's Centennial Honors Scholarship, which covers four years of tuition, fees and a residence hall room at the school.

High school students with an ACT score of 32 or higher and a grade point average of 3.5 or higher are eligible for the scholarship.

Fili said he will likely major in accounting at Western. He said he would like to participate in theatre and drama programming at WIU.

In high school, Fili participated in theatre, speech, Scholastic Bowl, track and field, WYSE testing and experimental psychology.
