WIU-Macomb: Power Restored

MACOMB, IL – The north section of the Western Illinois University campus was affected by a power outage at approximately 4:35 p.m. today (July 17). Power has been restored with the exception of Western Hall, which is expected to have power restored later this evening.

According Facilities Management Director Scott Coker, the outage was caused by an electrical malfunction in a utility tunnel near Waggoner Hall.

Campus remains open and classes will be held Thursday, July 18.
