Union, MCC Cooling Centers

MACOMB, IL -- The University Union and the Multicultural Center on the Western Illinois University-Macomb campus have been designated as cooling centers for area residents.
The University Union is open from 7 a.m.-11 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 7 a.m.-12:30 a.m. Friday and Saturday; and 8 a.m.-10 p.m. Sunday. The Union will be closed Monday, Sept. 2 in observance of Labor Day. A drinking water refilling station is located near the University Union Bookstore entrance.
The WIU Multicultural Center on C.T. Vivian Way/Murray Street, directly across the street from the Union, is open from 8 a.m.-7 p.m. today (Aug. 28) and Thursday, Aug. 29, and from 8-4:30 p.m. p.m. Friday, Aug. 30.
