COFAC Fest at Western Oct. 2

MACOMB, IL – The Western Illinois University College of Fine Arts and Communication will hold its first "COFAC Fest" Wednesday, Oct. 2 for students interested in investigating the majors and minors offered through the college.

The event runs from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. under the tent between Browne and Memorial Halls on the Macomb campus. Free hot dogs and soda will be served while they last. Current COFAC students are invited to attend as well.

Information will be provided about art, broadcasting, communication, music, theatre & dance and communication sciences & disorders majors and minors. Graphic design students will be doing 3-D sidewalk chalk art and silkscreen printing students will be doing demonstrations.

The student radio station, WIUS-FM 88.3 The Dog will be playing music at the event and the WIU School of Music will feature a performance by the Steel Band. Music business students will also have a fundraising game of musical chairs.
