Study Abroad in Costa Rica

MACOMB, IL - - Western Illinois University will offer students the opportunity to study abroad in San Jose, Costa Rica through the Western Illinois Spanish Experience-Costa Rica (WISE-Costa Rica) Program. Students interested in learning more information about studying abroad in Costa Rica and the program are invited to an informational session at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 16 in Morgan Hall, room 309A.
The Study Abroad Program is conducted in cooperation with the Center for International Programs at Universidad Veritas in San Jose, Costa Rica. It's a four-week Spanish language and culture immersion course, where students will have the opportunity to go on excursions and tours of historical and cultural sites and learn from the host families they stay with. Extracurricular actives are also offered, including Costa Rican cooking, tropical dance lessons and yoga classes.
