WIU Volleyball Breast Cancer Awareness Event Oct. 25

MACOMB, IL - -The Western Illinois University women's volleyball team is pairing up with the Macomb County Park District for a walk-a-thon/dirt volleyball event Friday, Oct. 25 in honor of breast cancer awareness.

The event will be at Veterans Park on University Drive from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Participation is $5 and each person will receive a t-shirt. All proceeds go toward breast cancer research.

The next night, Saturday, Oct. 26, the WIU women's volleyball team will wear pink jerseys for their Dig Pink match against Omaha at 3 p.m. in Western Hall. All walk/volleyball event participants are encouraged to wear their t-shirts to the match.
