BOT Meeting Dec. 13

MACOMB, IL -- The Western Illinois University Board of Trustees will consider a memorandum of understanding with the University Professionals of Illinois (UPI) Local 4100 at the Friday, Dec. 13 Board meeting in the University Union Capitol Rooms on the WIU-Macomb campus.
The WIU Board will begin at 8 a.m. with a scheduled executive session in accordance with the provisions of the Open Meetings Act. The open meeting will resume at approximately 9 a.m., following the executive session.
Other items on the Board's agenda include the consideration of a continuous order with Delta Controls Building Automation Systems to better control heating and cooling systems within buildings; the approval of an Open Access to Research Task Force as part of the state's Open Access to Research Articles Act; and first readings regarding changes to mandatory student fees and termination with notice policies.
The Board will also hear updates on contributions, enrollment, retention and graduation, facility assessments, the campus master plan, long-term planning and concealed carry.
