WIU School of Ag Selling Organic, Locally Produced Purple and Gold Popcorn

MACOMB, IL – Give the gift of local flavor and school spirit this holiday season. Rocky Purple and Gold Popcorn, produced on Western Illinois University's Allison Organic Research and Demonstration Farm, is the perfect stocking stuffer.

According to Joel Gruver, assistant professor and director of Western's Organic Research Program, Rocky Popcorn is available in one-half-pound plastic bags and microwaveable bags for $2 per bag at the School of Agriculture office in Knoblauch Hall 145 on the WIU-Macomb campus. The WIU School of Ag office is open 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Monday-Friday through Friday, Dec. 20.
