Drabik Awarded Centennial Honors Scholarship

MACOMB, IL – Wheaton High School North senior Joseph Drabik, of Wheaton, IL, has been selected for Western Illinois University's Centennial Honors Scholarship, which covers four years of tuition, fees and a residence hall room at the school.

High school students with an ACT score of 32 or higher and a grade point average of 3.5 or higher are eligible for the scholarship.

Drabik said he will likely major in forensic chemistry at Western.

At Western, Drabik said he hopes to participate in club sports.

In high school, Drabik participated in both symphonic and jazz bands and was a member of the Spanish and National honor societies.

After graduation from WIU, Drabik plans to join a federal or local criminal investigative department.
