Vote for WIU in NCAA 6thFan Contest
February 13, 2014
MACOMB, IL - The NCAA is giving away general scholarship funds to 16 NCAA Division I athletic departments that sponsor men's basketball, and fans can help bring that money to Western Illinois by voting for the Fighting Leathernecks each and every day.
This national school pride competition involves students, alumni and other fans casting votes for their schools at NCAA.com/6thfan or via Twitter or Facebook. The top 16 schools will receive $10,000 in general scholarship funds, and the winning school will receive a $100,000 donation to its general scholarship fund. The contest ends March 16 (Selection Sunday), so be sure to vote for Western as much as possible.
