Retirement Reception for Julie Murphy May 29

MACOMB, IL -- The Western Illinois University Foundation and Development Office will host a retirement reception for Julie Murphy, director of donor relations, from 4-6 p.m. Thursday, May 29, in the University Art Gallery. Murphy will retire May 30 after 34 years of service at Western.
Murphy began her career at WIU's Non-Traditional Programs in 1980. Later, she worked in student services, and moved into public relations and development positions for the College of Education and Human Services and Tri-States Public Radio, respectively. Murphy was named director of donor relations for the WIU Foundation in 2006.
