Results of Leatherneck Battalion 5K Released

MACOMB, IL - The first Leatherneck Battalion 5K was held April 26 at Spring Lake, with 67 runners taking part.

Prizes were awarded to the top three finishers in the men's and women's categories as well as the top finishers in each age group.

In the men's category, Cadet Colton Motz finished first in a time of 23:59, followed by Cadet Jonathan Szalonek in second at 24:27 and Abe Pedigo in third at 24:51. In the women's category, Lydia Fetene finished first in a time of 29:55, followed by Jessica Moore in second at 30:13 and Cadet Amanda Rogalske in third at 31:12.

Men's Category:
1-17 - Abe Pedigo
18-25 – Cadet Silas Greening 25:46
25-35 - 2LT Daniel Kendall 31:29
45 and over - Jeff Chute 28:21

Women's:
1-17 - Lydia Fetene
28-25 – Cadet Amanda Rogalske
26-35 - Jessica Moore
36-45 - Becky Derry 39:35
45 and over - Rhonda Simpson 34:49
