WIU Employees Invited to Welcome Students

MACOMB, IL - - Show Western Illinois University students the Western welcome! All WIU faculty, staff and administrators are invited to join WIU Student Services to help welcome new and returning students from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Monday, Aug. 25 and Tuesday, Aug. 26 at the purple and white welcome tent south of the Spencer Student Recreation Center.
Employees who choose to participate can meet at the tent to help pass out bottled water in an effort to provide a welcoming and encouraging atmosphere to students.
There is no registration or sign-up. Employee volunteers are asked to wear purple and a smile, and to come and go with whatever time frame suits their schedule and is approved by a supervisor.
