WIU's Graduation List, Summer 2014

MACOMB/MOLINE, IL - More than 550 students earned academic degrees after the Summer 2014 semester at Western Illinois University. This includes 79 students that earned academic degrees at the Quad Cities campus.
Bachelor's degrees were awarded to more than 400 students. This number includes 57 graduates that earned Western's Bachelor of Arts in General Studies (BGS) degree. Master's degrees were earned by nearly 120 graduates. Fourteen individuals earned post-baccalaureate certificates.
Academic distinction was awarded to baccalaureate graduates who achieved high grade point averages. This includes: Summa Cum Laude, 3.90 GPA or higher on a 4.0 scale; Magna Cum Laude, 3.75 to 3.89 GPA; and Cum Laude, 3.6 to 3.74 GPA.
