Veterans Resource Center Open House Today

MACOMB, IL -- The Western Illinois University Veterans Resource Center will host an open house for veterans and service members at 3:30 p.m. today (Wednesday, Aug. 27) in the University Union Grand Ballroom on the WIU-Macomb campus.

"The open house is an excellent opportunity for current and returning students to meet and network," said Kathy Meyers, resource centerassistant director. "There will be many campus professionals available to discuss such resources as health care, career development, academic assistance, financial aid, personal wellness, veterans benefits, disability support and more."

The WIU Veterans Resource Center, located in the Wright Residence, 333 N. Ward Street, provides streamlined services in one centralized location. Veterans, service members and their family members can also receive individual assistance with any question or concern they may encounter. The center is open from 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
