Vice Awarded Centennial Honors Scholarship

MACOMB, IL – South Fork Community High School senior Kaysi Vice, of Kincaid, IL, has been selected for Western Illinois University's Centennial Honors Scholarship, which awards $10,000 per year to academically high-achieving students.

High school students with an ACT score of 30 or higher and a grade point average of 3.0 or higher are eligible for the scholarship.

Vice said she expects to major in biology at Western.

"The faculty and students at WIU have been welcoming and it already feels like home to me," she said.

At Western, Vice would like to participate in Concert Choir, events at the Women's Center and campus volunteer groups.

After graduation, Vice would like to work in a medical lab, such as in a hospital.

In high school, Vice participated in the yearbook and in choir.
