Bow Wow Bash is Oct. 25 in Chandler Park

MACOMB, IL – The Western Illinois University Zoology Club will host its second annual Bow Wow Bash beginning at 10:15 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 25 in Chandler Park.
A costume contest begins at 10:15 a.m., tricks for treats at 10:45 a.m. and a doggie "pawrade" at 11:30 a.m. Participants will have a chance to decorate their own mini pumpkin, play games, win prizes and sample Halloween snacks.
A donation bin will also be set up for pet food and supplies.
The cost to register for the event is $5 per dog, and all proceeds benefit the McDonough County Animal Shelter.
