Diane L. Garlisch Obituary

MACOMB, IL – Funeral services for Western Illinois University office support specialist Diane L. Garlisch, of rural Havana, will be held Monday, Oct. 27 in Lewistown, IL.
Services will be begin at 11 a.m. Oct. 27 at the Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Lewistown, IL. The visitation will be held at the funeral home one hour prior to the start of services.
Garlisch passed away Wednesday, Oct. 22 at Unity Point Methodist Hospital in Peoria, IL. She is survived by one brother, one sister and four nieces.
After starting employment at WIU in September 1991 as a secretary III in the budget office, Garlisch was transferred to the office of the vice president of administrative services in May 1995. In 1998, she was promoted to secretary IV in University Union administration, and in 2003, she was transferred to Student Judicial Programs.
