'Food Fight' Presented at WIU Nov. 17

MACOMB, IL – The Western Illinois University Department of Theatre and Dance will present "Food Fight," at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 17 in the Simpkins Theatre.

The performance will feature students from the WIU stage combat class, taught by Associate Professor DC Wright, performing a series of short fight scenes.

The event is open to the public and admission is one non perishable food item. All food donations will be given to the Loaves and Fishes food pantry.

"Food Fight" will also feature the return of "Pipeline," the popular PVC pipe band, which last performed together in 2009. The band is comprised of two current WIU theatre students, a faculty member and a WIU alumnus.

The theatre is located on the second floor of Simpkins Hall and the performance will last approximately 30 minutes.
