MACOMB, IL — More than 1,000 grade school students from the western Illinois region were watching inside Western Hall as part of "Elementary Day" at the Western Illinois University Women's Basketball game Tuesday. The Leathernecks defeated the University of Missouri-Kansas City Kangaroos, 71-48, in front of a record crowd.
