Beck Named Assistant to COFAC Dean

MACOMB, IL – Jill Beck, former executive director of the McDonough County United Way, has been named assistant to College of Fine Arts and Communication (COFAC) Dean Billy Clow, effective Jan. 5.

Beck is responsible for coordinating the marketing efforts of the departments within COFAC. She replaces Cathy Null, who retired in December.

" We are very excited to have Jill joining us," Clow said. "She brings a wealth of experience and community knowledge and is just a fantastic addition to our COFAC family."

Prior to coming to WIU, Beck directed the McDonough County United Way office from 2009-2014. She also served on the Performing Arts Society for three years and was an ambassador for the Macomb Area Chamber of Commerce for five years.

In addition to serving on the United Way Board of Directors and Macomb Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, Beck is a member of the Macomb Morning Rotary Club and the McDonough County InterAgency Council.
