Bubble Soccer Tournament March 31-April 1

MACOMB, IL - - Western Illinois University's Department of Recreation, Park and Tourism Administration (RPTA) camp leadership class (RPTA 240) will host the first ever bubble soccer tournament Tuesday-Wednesday, March 31-April 1 at the WIU Donald S. Spencer Student Recreation Center.

The event, co-sponsored by Substance Abuse Prevention Education Fund, Morris and Company Inc., Campus Recreation and Western's RPTA department, will award first through third place prizes.

Proceeds will go toward Camp Rocky, a half-day camp, for children grades kindergarden through 12, held during a WIU football game. Children can check-in and participate in a variety of craft activities and games.

The cost is $50 per team, with up to 10 players on a team. Cash or checks must be dropped off at the RPTA department, Currens Hall, room 400, by Friday, March 27. To register online, visit wiu.edu/intramurals.
