Title IX Speaker to Visit WIU

MACOMB, IL – Dana Bolger, co-founder of KnowyourIX.com, will speak at Western Illinois University at 6 p.m. Thursday, April 16 in the University Union's Sandburg Theatre.
Bolger will share her story about finding Know Your IX in order to address gender-based violence on campus. She will also discuss how Title IX applies to gender-based violence, and she will inform students, faculty and staff about their options and rights under Title IX.
April 16 marks Faculty Against Rape's first Faculty Day of Action. Bolger's talk is sponsored by the WIU Department of Women's Studies, the University Theme Committee, the WIU Provost's Office, the Western Organization for Women, the WIU Office of Equal Opportunity and Access, the WIU Department of Sociology and Anthropology, UNITY and Burton Law Office, LLC.
