MACOMB, IL – Advisors at Western Illinois University opened a lemonade stand at Western Illinois University May 6-7 as an outreach effort to promote students meeting with their advisors and preparing for final exams.

WIU's academic advisors donated their own time and money to distribute more than 30 gallons of lemonade to students. The purpose was to remind students to see their advisor to register for fall classes and to encourage them to finish the semester on a strong note through their final exams this week.

The event was organized and conducted by the Campus Affairs Committee of the Council of Academic Advisors.
