WIU Mourns Student Death

MACOMB, IL -- Funeral services for Western Illinois University student Robert W. Corbett, 21, of Round Lake Beach, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 4 at Impact/Calvary Christian Church in Lake Villa. Visitation will be held from 10-11 a.m. July 4 at Impact/Calvary Christian Church. Corbett, a junior pre-business/supply chain management major, passed away June 30.
He was a member of the National Honor Society, and worked as a lifeguard at the YMCA in Lindenhurst.
"We extend our sincere condolences to Robert's family, friends and classmates," said WIU President Jack Thomas.
