Faculty Chamber Music Series Schedule Released

MACOMB, IL – The Western Illinois University School of Music has announced the upcoming performance schedule for its Faculty Chamber Music Series.

All concerts are held in the College of Fine Arts and Communication (COFAC) Recital Hall, with each beginning at 7:30 p.m. Admission is free.

This year's schedule includes:

• Oct. 7: Faculty Chamber Music Series Concert 1 – Lamoine Brass Quintet and Hopper Jazztet.

• Nov. 4: Faculty Chamber Music Series Concert 2 – Camerata Woodwind Quintet, with special guests, Professor of Music Tammie Walker and Associate Professor of Music Julieta Mihai. The concert includes works by Bruce Adolphe, Eric Ewazen, Malcolm Arnold and WIU Professor of Music Randall Faust.

• Feb. 3: Faculty Chamber Music Series Concert 3: Mixed repertory.

• March 2: Faculty Chamber Music Series Concert 4: Lamoine Brass Quintet and Hopper Jazztet.

• April 6: Faculty Chamber Music Series Concert 5: Camerata Woodwind Quintet and Julstrom String Quartet.
