Root Obituary

MACOMB, IL – Memorial services for retired building service worker Verle Eugene Root, 65, of Macomb, will be held at 5 p.m. Friday, Nov. 6 at Clugston-Tibbitts Funeral Home in Macomb. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service, also at the funeral home.
Root began working at WIU in 1984, and retired after 25 years of service.
He is survived by four sons, six grandchildren, two brothers and one sister.
