Annual WIU Holiday Festival of Choirs Saturday, Dec. 5

MACOMB, IL – Western Illinois University Choirs will present its annual Holiday Festival of Choirs for the Macomb and WIU communities Saturday, Dec. 5 at St. Paul Catholic Church, 309 W. Jackson St., Macomb.

A matinee concert will begin at 2 p.m. and the evening concert will begin at 7:30 p.m.

The concert will feature the choirs of choral graduates from the Western School of Music, along with WIU Singers, Madrigal Singers and Concert Choir.

Gayle Cooper will be the Holiday Festival organist. Audience members will join the Holiday Festival Choir on the carol sing along including the traditional singing of the "Hallelujah Chorus," from Handel's Messiah.

General admission tickets are $10 and can be purchased through the Hainline Theatre Box Office Monday-Friday from noon-5 p.m. , or by calling (309) 298-2900.
