Roberts, Sell, Mayer Services

MACOMB, IL -- Services for former building service worker Wilma Roberts will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 24, 2016 at Clugston Tibbitts Funeral Home in Macomb. Visitation will be held from 1-2 p.m. at the funeral home. Roberts, 89, passed away March 21, 2016 in Macomb.
Roberts began working as a building service worker at WIU in 1980. She retired from WIU in 1994.
She is survived by one son, one daughter, two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, and one one brother.

Services for former painter E. Lewis "Lewie" Sell, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 24, at Clugston Tibbitts Funeral Home in Macomb. Visitation will be held from 5:30-7 p.m. Wednesday, March 23 at the funeral home. Sell, 91, passed away March 20, 2016 in Good Hope.
He worked as a painter at Western for 17 years, retiring in 1994.
He is survived by two sons; five grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Former English instructor Suzanne Henne Mayer, 76, passed away on March 14 at home in Macomb, Illinois. A memorial service will be at a later date.
Mayer was an instructor of English from 1984 until her retirement in 1999. While at WIU, she was part of the group of five faculty who first offered distance learning classes taught by computer. She served on the Macomb Area 185 School Board and then served multiple terms as a trustee for the McDonough and Hancock Counties Regional Board of Education.
She is survived by her husband Charles; two daughters and two sisters.
