Automated Payment Plan Reminder

MACOMB, IL -- Western Illinois University Billing and Receivables wants to remind WIU students that the department offers an automated payment plan, which provides an option for students to budget their tuition and other educational expenses.

The automated plan is an interest-free way to spread tuition and fee payments over several months. Students may complete the B/R Automatic Payment Plan on STARS. Individuals with log-in information for Parent and Guest Access may also complete the B/R Automatic Payment Plan.

The plan agreement allows monthly payments to be deducted from a bank account on the fifth of each enrollment month, with no finance charge assessed on the contracted amount (there is a $2 per month transaction fee to cover processing). Additional charges incurred above the contract amount will be billed and subject to the one percent finance charge assessment if not paid by the due date.

Students who enroll by May 31 can take advantage of the six payment option, or select an option with fewer payments. The final enrollment deadline for Fall 2016 is Aug. 31.
