CDC Awards Two Job Search Scholarships

MACOMB, IL – Two Western Illinois University students have been awarded Job Search Scholarships through the Career Development Center (CDC).

Victoria Kappel, a senior communication sciences and disorders major from Orland Park (IL), and Paige Lloyd, a senior elementary education major from Frankfort (IL), were each awarded the $150 to help with their job searches.

Students applying for the CDC scholarship by submitting a resume and an essay and having an interview with the center's staff. The scholarship provides money for travel expenses incurred through job or graduate school interviews.

The CDC began the scholarship program in 2015 and have awarded it three times.
