MACOMB, IL -- Services for Mary (Pat) Keever, a retired Beu Health Center nurse, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 21 at St. Paul Church in Macomb. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Friday, May 20 at Dodsworth-Piper-Wallen Funeral Home in Macomb, followed by a wake service at 7 p.m. Keever, 74, passed away May 15 in Iowa City.

Keever worked as a nurse at Beu Health Center from 1990 until her retirement in 1998. She later returned to Beu in 2004 until 2006. She was also a nurse at McDonough District Hospital in the ICU and OB departments for 32 years, retiring in 2014.

She is survived by one son William Keever, and two daughters, Heidi Wiechmann and Keo Thompson, and eight grandchildren, three great-grandsons; a foster granddaughter; two sisters and one brother. Her husband, longtime WIU Health Sciences Professor Billy Keever, preceded her in death in June 2013.
