WIU: Who We Are, What We Do

Behind the bricks and mortar, there are the people of Western Illinois University and the Macomb community.

Who I Am: Luke Otto. I am from Normal, IL and I am the oldest of three brothers, both of who are bigger than I am. Although that is the case, I spend every day not only trying to be a leader for them to look up to, but a leader on the football field, in the classroom, and in my community.

What I Do: I am a student-athlete at Western and I play on the football team. I am also employed by the University as an athletic academic services tutor.

Why I Love WIU: I caught myself referring to WIU as "home" several times this semester. The people I've met at WIU, the memories I've made, and the countless experiences I've shared are all reasons why I have come to love WIU and truly call it my home.
