Move-In Week 2016 Schedule

MACOMB, IL - Western Illinois University's Fall 2016 Move-In Weekend activities will kick off at 8 a.m. Friday, Aug. 19.

This year's move-in schedule includes:

Friday, Aug. 19

• 8 a.m. – Residence hall move in begins – Bayliss, Henninger and Tanner halls
• 4 p.m. – Commuter/transfer student programming – University Union Capitol Room
• 5:30-6:15 p.m. – New Student Convocation – Western Hall
• 6:15 p.m. – President's Picnic – Campus Mall, near the Student Recreation Center
• 8 p.m. – Floor Connection – residence halls
• 8:30 p.m. – Rocky After Dark: First Night Fun – Hanson Field


Saturday, Aug. 20

• 9 a.m. – Leatherneck Legacy – Western Hall
• 10:30 a.m. – Class of 2020 Photo Shoot – Hanson Field, rain location Campus Recreation
• 11:30 a.m. – Academic Expectations – Various locations
• 11:30 a.m. – Lunch – Residence hall dining centers
• 2 p.m. – Placement testing – Stipes Hall, room 331
• 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. – Where are my Classes? – Leaving from various locations
• 5-7 p.m. – Block Party – Massive Minute to Win It – outside Bayliss, Henninger and Tanner halls
• 5:30 p.m. – Dinner available – Outside Bayliss, Henninger and Tanner halls
• 8 p.m. – Comedy hypnosis and magic with David Hall – University Union Grand Ballroom

Sunday, Aug. 21

• 11:30 a.m. – Lunch – Corbin/Olson and Thompson halls
• 2 p.m. – Multicultural Center orientation for collegiate success – Multicultural Center
• 4:30-6:30 –p.m. – Floor dinner – Bayliss, Henninger and Tanner halls
• 7 p.m. – Floor meetings – Bayliss, Henninger and Tanner halls
