WIU Department of Broadcasting and Journalism Launches Fundraising Campaign

MACOMB, IL – The Western Illinois University Department of Broadcasting and Journalism launched a Crowdfunding campaign Thursday to raise money for new equipment.

The "Click. Give. Equip." campaign is attempting to raise $13,000 by Friday, Sept. 30 to buy three pieces of equipment, including a TalkShow device, a Panasonic 4K and HD camera and a camera jib for the television studio.

If the campaign raises $2,500 by Thursday, Sept. 1, alumnus David Lumley has agreed to match that amount dollar-for-dollar.
