WIU alumnus Tim Engstrom will be the keynote speaker during the evening networking dinner. Engstrom, who received his bachelor's degree from Western in transportation and physical distribution (currently supply chain management) and his master's degree in supply chain management from Elmhurst College, is a lifelong supply chain practitioner.

Western Illinois University to Hold Supply Chain Management Day Sept. 21

MACOMB, IL - - Western Illinois University's Supply Chain Management (SCM) program will provide students an opportunity to showcase their knowledge and experience and meet with professionals in the field through the annual Supply Chain Management Day. The event, designed to foster interaction among current and prospective SCM majors, employers and WIU faculty and staff, will be held Wednesday, Sept. 21 on the WIU Macomb campus.

It is free for companies to register to attend SCM Day, set up a table display and talk with students at the career fair. Companies who wish to register should do so online by Tuesday, Sept. 13.

Western's SCM program offers a comprehensive purchase-to-delivery curriculum and is one of only three programs of its type in Illinois and one of only approximately 50 programs nationally that is accredited by AACSB International (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business). It is also one of Western's Signature Academic Programs.
