MACOMB, IL -- Campus Students for Christ (CSC), which has served Western Illinois University students since 1969, will host a ribbon-cutting/open house event Sunday, Sept. 18 to debut the CSC's new facility on Riverview Drive. The original CSC center on Riverview was built in 1971 as a sorority house. CSC purchased the building in 1978.

The event, which is open to the public, will be held from 4-7 p.m. Sunday. More than 300 alumni and friends will be present to celebrate the open house. Activities for children and food will be available, and tours of the new facility will be held throughout the event. A brief program and the ribbon-cutting will begin at 5:30 p.m. The keynote speaker for the event is Charlie Ferguson, who was the campus minister at CSC from 1989-2007.
